“I set out one day to find the pieces I had seen in the pages of Cosmo. I loved some of the designs from this one particular designer, so I thought I’d see them first hand. He had a great reputation and made the kinds of chunky, big and bold pieces I gravitate towards. I was appauled by the low quality and high price. The stones on his pieces weren’t even real turquoise, they were howlite that had been died and the “coral” was actually resin. The agate was of equally poor quality, something I wouldn’t even pay $1 for at the wholesale level. And yet, he had the nerve to charge $3,450.00 and people were actually buying it. I thought, wow, I just couldn't do that .So I came to the conclusion that you were paying for the designers name and not the actual quality of the item.If someone were to see my items I want them to automatically see my name and think not only wow dramatic styling ,one of a kind, but also supreme quality. I want them to not only love their wearable art but to know that the piece will last them a lifetime." ”
